About Vania...

Vania is the author of six novels. Caged Bird was her first published work. Captive Hearts, Ruse in Renata, and Devil's Advocate followed before she was inspired to create the sequel Caged Emotions. She started revisions on her first novel Return of My Adonis in 2020 and it was released in April of 2022. During her time as a travel specialist, Vania published several magazine articles on the subject of cruise travel.
She is a married mother of four, has one grandchild, and currently lives in Michigan. Two of her four children were adopted, and her years of experience raising developmentally challenged children served as the major inspiration for Caged Bird. Vania strives to create believable characters while including realistic facts within her novels that bring attention to issues her readers might otherwise be unaware of, hoping to pique curiosity for learning beyond the scope of the plot. These issues range from emotional disorders to uncommon illnesses and historical information relevant to the settings.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Vania was always a good English student and loved to read as far back as elementary school. She started writing novels in 2006, continuing through 2014 before taking a hiatus and beginning to write again in 2020. To date all of Vania’s projects have been Contemporary Romance, but she aspires to write Young Adult novels in the future.
When she's not writing, Vania is an event planner and also assists her husband with his mobile notary service. During the always too short Michigan summers, she takes great pride in her rose garden and other flowers. She is a huge sports fan, enjoying most major events. She and her husband are also avid bowlers and Vania has four perfect 300 games to her credit. Vania loves to travel and her idea of a perfect vacation is cruising.
